I'm looking to purchase my first handguards for my CR125. Does anyone have any recommendations? _________________ Jerome |

It depends on exactly what you're looking for. Are you looking for inexpensive? Will you be racing and need stronger guards? There are types that mount to the inner part of the bar but they can take up too much room if you cut down your bars narrower for riding in the tight woods. There are ones that mount to the top clamp of your handlebar mount. There are ones that mount to the bolts on the top triple clamp area. I personally run the Pro Moto Billet ones since they are pretty much indestructible which is important for how I crash. I also use the G2 Ergonomics threaded bar inserts. They come with a tap that you thread into your bar end. You then thread in the bar insert so when you bolt on your guards, they are bolted solidly.
I also sell two types of guards. The G2 Ergonomics ones and the ones from Magnum Engineering which are cheaper. Whichever set you decide to get, I would request you purchase them from a local dealer. There are several local dealers who support TDR and other who sponsor the local racing series. These dealers are giving back to the riders in this area and deserve our loyalty. _________________ CrazyTed Marriner
